Carrie, I didn't post my personal info.  If anyone wants to chat with me personally, I'll be more than happy to email that info.  I don't know how his ex got my info.  She's not linked to this site whatsoever.  (gawd at least I don't think so)  But my bf and I know that somehow she got it from my license plate.  But I thought obtaining info off your plate (or tag # if that's what u call it in Cali) was impossible?

Kittles....does she work at the license bureau or at the court?  No one would have just given her that info unless she has in insider.

Sass,

She does NOT work for the courts, etc.  And as far as we know, she doesn't have an insider.

Can you help me with this?  Is there a way I can prevent this in the future?  She's a psycho, bi-polar loon.  And I'm quite serious here.  How the hell did she get it?  I've looked at various sites and googled finding people.  From the sites I've seen, you have to pay in order to get info on someone.  Is that legal?

I'm betting she forked out the money to get info. on you. You can get public records on someone, for a fee of course. The more money you pay, the more info you get. Scary, huh? It's perfectly legal, too, unfortunately. Your bf's ex sounds like she's got OCD too as well. Don't let her get your goat though, that's her goal!

What's OCD?  We believe she is mental.  We think she suffers from Bi-polar.  She has the classic symptoms.  She thinks she's absolutely fine.  Ugh.  There's a lot to it but I don't want to post it here.

OCD -- Obsessive compulsive disorder.....

Kitty, it must be extremely difficult putting up with a nuisance ex.  I'm betting that she's very curious about you because as a mom, she wants to know who she's exposing her kids to (oh, and it doesn't hurt to make the ex suffer and cringe a little in the process...lol).  Try the simple approach of talking to her directly, answer her questions and then go from there.  Stay calm and let her vent her frustrations.  Give it an honest-to-goodness good faith go, and then if things don't work, you can take other measures to keep her away from you.  The relationship she has with your bf is one thing that isn't going to go away because of those kids.  She needs to view you as a separate individual.  Give her that chance.  I bet you'll be able to calm her concerns.

When all is said and done, the one(s) most impacted are the kids.  I hate to say it, but this won't end well if the kids become terribly traumatized by their parents fighting over gf's and bf's.  Maybe its up to you to take the initiative and approach this woman yourself in a sincere and civil manner.  Invite her for coffee and crumpets... lol.  You might be surprised at what a woman-to-woman talk can accomplish!

I hope everything works out for you!!

Dr. Philuffy

Carole...or should I say Dr. Fwuffles?  LOL  Thanks for the advice; however, talking with this bitch is impossible.  She's a screamer and you cannot talk to her rationally.  It's a sad situation.  If you only knew half of the crap she's pulled.  There is NO talking to her.  She goes from one extreme to the other.  It's a long story.  Right now I just got home and really am not in the mood for it.  I think I've got vertical again....

And for some more news....I just found out that my brother is dealing with the exact thing.  His wife is bi-polar but the difference is ~ is that she knows it.  Gene's ex does not realize she needs help.  My heart goes out to him.  I feel his pain.  All he wants is to live a happy life and he knows that he cannot with his wife.  I didn't know the extent of it 'til last night when he wanted to talk to Gene instead of me....Gene's been thru it so he can offer some advice, etc.

I shouldn't say that Gene's ex suffers from it because she hasn't been diagnosed by a doctor.  But we did some research on it and she has the classic symptoms.  Unfortunately there is nothing that anyone can do.  It has to up to the person who has it.  Maybe I'll write more later.....right now I just my smoke and a cup of coffee and go take some tylenol for massive headache.

I forgot to mention that yes we believe this has affected their 7 year old daughter.  She can be a moody one.  I don't know if it's hereditary but his ex's mother suffers from something similar.
