Here we are.. (myself included)... merely offering sympathy and prayers, as if the kid just died for some medical reason or the result of a stupid accident. 

 

Daniel was murdered.  I think that takes an even greater toll on the family than an illness or an accident.

 

Patty... I hope your family gets justice and peace.  I doubt any of you will rest until you have some answers.  As much as I hate the word "closure", its my greatest wish for you in '09. I hope they find the bastard and figure out his reason for doing this.
