Gem,
I have been thinking a lot about you because the bunch of us used to chat so much together, I wanted you to know for sure about this.
It is not easy. I have my kids and teaching and in college fulltime for my Masters to try and keep my mind off of things, but I took Tuesday off and cried the entire day and just when I thought I couldnt anymore, his mom called and said " Stop crying and get up and go outside and live and laugh and be happy. He would want that more than anything." It was like he knew I needed to hear those words, and coming from his mom they meant the world.
I feel like half of my heart is gone, though, that is for sure. Thank god for my kids to keep me going. |
