So you know... this thread is posted in our new Aimoo group under CLASSIC ROCK SIDEBAR, Aimoo Questions and Info.

Maybe if you read through it quickly, it will answer a lot of your questions.

To get around from one board to the next easily:  After you post, or once you want to view another board, simply click the "Hop To" menu, or you can click Classic Rock Sidebar>(FORUM CHOICE)>(board choice) located to the left of the "Hop To" menu.

To view new threads/responses on the board:  I hate that new threads or responses aren't highlighted in this forum.  The best way to check the boards to keep up with threads you're interested in, is to click "Today" located underneath our Sidebar Banner:  Today/Member/Search..................

Post A New Thread: Click New Topic (or Topic) at the top or bottom of the forum.  The icon might change if the group background changes.. just look for those keys words.  I won't make any changes to the background for awhile.

Respond To a Thread: You have two options. Click the "Actions" at the top of your response. You can choose to a Quick Reply or pull up a full Response window. There are no options in a Quick Reply...its just a place to write some quick text. For a more detailed response, including graphics and videos, click Reply and your full Response window will come up.  You may also find A Reply or Respond icon at the top or the bottom of the forum.

RECOMMENDATION:  Use a 10 pt font, at least... and place a new, blank line at the beginning and end of your post so that the top and bottom isn't crowding.

Change Your Font Style/Size/Color:  These icons are located fifth from the left, top row in your Reply window.  Highlight your text and click the icons, just as you did in MSN. There is a new icon in this group that will allow us to highlight a word or paragraph (anything, as demonstrated above), by clicking the eighth icon from the left. Follow the same procedure for changing color and style.

Edit or Delete Your Post: Click the "Actions" menu at the top of your response.  Choose which option you need to use and click Go.  Nobody else can edit your posts, but Management can delete it.

Post an Image in your Message:  Several ways to do this.  The easiest (for me) is to load your image into your Photobucket account.  Open Photobucket in a separate window.  Choose the image you want to use from PB, click the bottom code (IMG) and simply paste it into your post.  There's no need to click any of the icons in the Reply window.

** You may also use the Aimoo Reply Tools to post pictures, but frankly, I haven't figured out how the hell to do it yet!!  lol

Post a Code (as if you were using Plain Text Editor in MSN):  In your Reply window, click HTML, copy code into the window, and post.  This function is often used for quiz results or images.

Post A Video: Click the Insert Flash icon (or the YouTube icon).  Type in your search requirement, click your selection and post.

Spellcheck: Highlight your text and click Spellcheck in the tool bar.

Quote a Post from the Board: Highlight the post or portion of the post you want to quote, then click the quotation marks icon in the tool bar of your Reply window.

Sticky Threads:  Sticky threads are those pinned at the top of a message board (ie:  Welcome thread, Sidebar quiz)... These threads will always remain at the top for easy access.  Only management can stick threads.  We're likely to stick hot topics and items of interest in the future.

Locked Threads:  There won't be many of these at all.  The only one at the moment is the Welcome thread.  A locked thread means that no replies can be added.
