No need, Paul... I've enjoyed every minute.

The cool thing about moving to Aimoo is that, as I said in my previous post, we have a chance to take a lot of the bad elements out of this Sidebar and start fresh.  In the past year or two, the board has been so tense with drama and political spats and stuff that just doesn't make a group appealing to everyone and downright tedious for others.

So my goal with our new Sidebar is to keep it lively, keep it fun, keep it fresh and interesting.  I want to restore the personal aspect of Sidebar and the cammaraderie so many of us enjoyed. I think certain boards should absolutely be used for specific topics of discussion.  Things started really going to hell in a handbasket here when the General Board was overtaken by politics.  I hope to keep that separate in Aimoo, on the Current Events Board... and other threads that were of no interest to a lot of people such as the American Idol thread need to be kept in their category as well.  I tried not to overwhelm Aimoo with a bunch of boards that require a lot of clicking so it shouldn't be too hard to keep up with everything.  I want the General Board to be a place where everyone can feel comfortable and welcome.

I just ask for everyone's patience once again, while I get the fine tuning down and the curtains hung and the walls painted...there's still lots to do over there.  We're ALL going to have a little difficulty in adjusting to a new forum, but I'm pretty confident that we'll make it work.  I'll take any suggestions anyone has to offer, too.
