Some of us seem to have a lot of fun participating in this threat. But I'm always very disappointed, if there's just the missing lyrics shown...or just the band...or just the name of the song. I think it would make sense to give ALL informations, such like song, album, band AND the missing verse, because sometimes it's just the one who posts the question and the one who's got the correct answer to know... I don't wonna stay dumb!!!  ty

I have an observation.  Normally I consider this cheating, or at the very least poor sportsmanship, but there's been a few times I've had to Google the lyrics after they'd sat there for weeks without anyone answering just so I could answer to keep the thread moving.  I could post some Garfield French lyrics and stump everybody for weeks but that wouldn't be much of a game now would it?

Maybe I was misunderstood...what I just wanted was claiming to give also song title and artist as minimum information.
If someone knows the missing rhyme, he also knows song title and interpreter - but the others obviously don't... So why leave these most important informations out?
I don't care about getting another piece of an unknown rhyme to match the given three or five lines I didn't know anyway...
But if I like the lyrics, I may get curios to listen to the music and I don't want to go to a music shop and ask for some album from some group which had a line "Bu--er the wall, old Motherf-----..." in some verse somewhere in one of their songs.
I want to go there and ask for all albums from "David Peel And The Lower Eastside"... ty

Mine was simply an added observation.  I agree, if you know the song, put the title out there too for those of us who don't.

Blanco,  I TOTALLY agree with you!!
When I first started this thread I specifically wanted us to put the:

  • The Name of the Band
  • The Name of the Song
  • The Name of the Album (If known)

...And perferably more lryics per song...

But as you know, when creating a new thread, many do not read or follow the directions and it NEVER goes the way it was meant to be.  Let's see if we can do it right this time.
