With our Aimoo group nearing completion, I'm phasing out what is left of our group here. The boards I've hidden haven't been active in months and will be deleted completely in a couple of weeks. All of our archives are stored in our Aimoo group. When we come to the very end, I'm going to delete this group myself. Somehow, I just don't want to give MSN the pleasure. I'll be sending an email announcement to the whole membership in the next week. If you haven't joined Aimoo yet, please register and join asap. |

Jack? whats wrong? are you saying you arent going to stay with us? ya know i'm kinda confused..this group will be closing real soon and alot of the regs havent joined the new place yet. I know we all have our everyday lifes but shit we have gone thru so much as a group,as friends...we have gone thru bad times and good times,we have supported eachother thru alot of crappy things that have happened in our lives..so now we are closing you guys are just going to say "oh well"? where are you all? Kitty? Mama? Charisma? Whofanny? Tubey? Chicky? Becca? Felix?Spicey? Sir? Relent?Art?Coda?Froggy?Gemmy?Kadi? Puppy? TyDy?gramma?Christy?Sass? I know Kelly is moving...Jo? and many more i'm just naming ppl off the top of my head..but come on guys dont let what we have built for so many years die.. |

I know change is hard and the look of the group is different but I assure you, I've tested board after board and this is the best option for us, aside from Yuku and short of buying a professional site. This one has some costs involved to keep it ad free and I'm very willing to maintain it as long as there's still interest. The actual set-up of the group has been a little confusing and difficult and frustrating!!!.....but the functionality of the group for all of you should be very manageable. There's absolutely not a single one of you in here who shouldn't be able to figure it all out in the space of about 30 minutes...posting is quite idiot-proof. I know it might take a few tries to get the hang of it, but don't give up... give it a chance. I'm still learning and figuring things out too. What would be MOST HELPFUL is if y'all would get in there and start trying it out. Let me know what features you like, don't like, what you're having trouble with and any suggestions you can think of. I'll try to accommodate all requests as best I can. There ARE a lot of configurations to play with so I can change just about any aspect of the group, except function figures/icons. Jack, again, your comment on this thread was really disappointing and mean-spirited... borderline hateful. I didn't deserve that. I've really worked hard to try and put something together that everyone can use. You have no idea the hours/days/weeks I've spent trying to find something that will work for us, and you piss on it, and me, all at the same time. Your reputation is well deserved. |

((((Carole)))) I cant speak for others but I totally appreciate everything and the hours you have put into finding us a new home ,without your efforts who knows what would have happened. Jack!! you have to join the new group dammit!! besides Carole and Charisma who the hell will give me a hard time about Hannity!! LOL it will be boring without you. I know you dont really like me anymore,but i'm hoping that can change..cause I miss you as my friend |

((((((((Carrie )))))))) thank you... I admit to being a little sensitive about undue criticism on this topic. If Aimoo fails, I just want y'all to know that I really tried. Don't confuse my sensitivity over Jack's nasty comment for not welcoming constructive criticism about Aimoo. I'm more than happy and willing to listen to everyone's concerns and to take on all your suggestions. The group just needs some wings to fly. |

You know, even in the days of the old chat room, people had their differences, but they moved on from them.
I have not been active on this board; I think I joined back a few years ago and posted here and there, but for the most part, real life got in the way.
Still, right now when I needed support at one of the hardest times of my life, regulars remembered me and had me and chewy b in their prayers. The comfort this place has brought me, along with the memories, has brought me some much needed peace.
I don't get the grudge holding or the constant bullshit some people tend to live their lives with, and I guess I never will.
Personally, if you are living a life full of negativity, it is going to bite you in the ass, likewise holding grudges or being needlessly shitty online to people...even if we have not all physically met, this place is a family, and until everyone knows how to treat one another with love, this world is going to have way more hate than I like in it.
Amad, take a walk outside and look around you. Find something to make you smile, and think about what is really important in life..and maybe you will decide to join the new board after all. |

I'm not sure why what I said was so hurtful. Magnolia, with all due respect, you have no idea what all is going on here. This is more about what is really important in life than you know, but it's not what you think, and I'll leave it at that.
Carrie, I appreciate your sentiment. I feel just as much affection for you as I ever have. I'm always available to you as long as you have my email address.
Carole, you took exception to me playing the peacemaker yesterday, and now you're uptight about a sarcastic remark I made this morning. Chill woman.
Kittles, and everyone else, as long as we have each others email addresses and other contact information, we'll be in touch. I'm not going anywhere. Sidebar, along with CR chat in the beginning, was an important part of my life for several years, and now, maybe it's over. |

Puppy? I'm already over there, and have been for a while now, but thanks for the sentiment. My car died and then I got a promotion, so my 8.5 hour days turned into 12-14 hour days with the busses and 'extra responsibilities'. Not much time for myself, much less msn groups. I'll be back to normal soon, just gotta figure out how to juggle my work life and get that damn car fixed first. |
