I admit that I am not much for chocolate, however I do get an urgenow and then and hot chocalte was over a comfort drink growing up to have on cold nights before going to bed. I also love peppermint so I gave this a try. I then took it a step farther and did one that is more fitting withme me diabetic..hee hee. the orgianl recipe is very good and one i would defineately use again or even serve others.
My version for diabetics is substitue the cup of powder sugar with a half cup sweetner and substitue the non dairy creamer for instant dry fat free milk. I still used regular peepermint and cocoa, It isn't as rich so I added two teasoppons of vanilla pwder as well which did improve the taste.
