Mac and Cheese with a Twist Nice skillet dish. This is another on the label type recipe. It's quick, easy, and good to eat!
Ingredients
1 pkg. Mac and Cheese (whichever brand you use) 1lb. ground beef 1/2 cup sliced celery 1/4 cup chopped onion 1 can of Cream of Mushroom Soup (we like Campbells) 1/2 cup water 1 tsp. salt Pepper to taste 1 tbsp. dried parsley (or fresh is ok)
This is very versitile, so you can add more ingredients if you wish.
Procedure
In a large skillet, brown the hamburger, and add the onions and celery when it's nearly browned, and cook til the onions and celery are soft. Prepare the Mac and Cheese by the instructions on the box. Drain the grease from the meat and onions when it's finished browning. Place back on the heat, and add the soup, water, salt, pepper, parsley, and the Mac and Cheese (once it's prepared). Mix well in the skillet and let simmer until the soup is heated.
You can serve with toast on the side, or chips,.....whatever you'd like.
