Hawaiian Baked Beans for a crowd
Using a 5 qt dutch oven, dump in an industrial size can of Bush's Baked Beans. Add at least one chopped onion, 1/2 cut catsup, 1/2 cup or so of brown sugar, molasses if you like it. About a pound of diced ham, (could be boiled ham you bought at the deli, or leftover ham, or if you want, you can buy one of those packages of ham already diced) and 1 can of pineapple, either crushed or tidbits with the juice. Then add about 3 tablespoons of pumpkin pie spice. (I am a seat of the pants type of cook and cannot actually tell you how much of anything I use except the beans, pineapple and ham. The only real advice I can give you is this; if it smells great before you bake it, it will be fabulous after it is baked.) Now, your choice whether you bake it overnight at about 250, or in a few hours at 350. You don't want it really dry or too soupy, so look at it and when it looks good to you, it is done.
