Pork Stew
3 lbs pork meat
8 medpotatoes, cut into chunks
1 large onion, cut into chenks
3 stalks of celery cut into chunks
5 medium sized carrots cut into chunks
1 teaspoon diced garlic
salt & pepper to taste
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon thyme
2 cans of cream of mushroom soup
2 teaspoons of either old bay seasoning, pork seasoning(rub), or 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning.
Rub seasing on meat. Put into crockpot and cook under tender to pull off bones. (if using raw pork with bones.) Reserve any liquid.
To liquid add the 2 cans of cream of mushoom soup. If there is not enough liquid add some water after the vegetables are added. you want to try to just cover the vegetables.
Stir in raw potatoes, carrots, onions, celery and rest of seasonings. Cook about 3 to four hours or until veggies are tender.
Serve with hot bread.
