Crock pot Barbecue Spareribs
3 lbs spareribs
2 medium onions, chopped
2 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3 teaspoons paprika
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1-1/2 cups of catsup
1-1/2 cups water
2 tablespoons vinegar
1, Place ribs in crock pot.
2. They can be preboiled to decrease fat and cooking time.
3. Combine other ingredients, except onions, and mix well.
4. Pour sauce over spareribs.
5. Add chopped onions.
6. Cook on High for 1 hour.
7. Turn to low and cook for 4-6 hours if precooked or 9-10 hours if raw meat is used.
