Porcupine Balls
1 1/2 pouds ground beef
1/2cup uncooked rice
1 medium onion minced
1 teaspoon salt
dash pepper
1 egg
2 cans condensed tomato soup
water
2 teaspoons each green pepper, celery, & onion minced
salt & pepper to taste
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon cilanto
3 teaspoons of Steak Seasoning (I prefer Montery Steak Seasoning)
In bowl place first 5 ingredients. Slightly beat egg & add to
ingredients. blend together & then form in to small meat balls. Placed
formed meatballs in to a baking dish.
Place tomato soup in a bowl. Add enough water to make a medium
thick sauce. To this add the spices, salt & pepper to taste, the 2
teaspoons each of green pepper, celery, & onion . Stir to blend. Pour
over meatballs. Bake in oven at 350 degrees until meat balls are done.
Cooking time will vary according to size of meat balls.
