Candied Brandied Cranberries
1-lb bag fresh cranberries 2 cup sugar 4 Tbsp brandy Additional sugar
Place cranberries in a dish and look over to eliminate any stray stems or bad berries. Transfer berries to a shallow baking pan large enough for berries to lay flat in a single layer. Sprinkle with 2 cups sugar.
Cover tightly, using double foil if pan doesn't have a lid. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 1 hour. Cool. Stir in brandy and sprinkle with lightly with additional sugar. Let dry. Spoon into a handsome glass bowl or jar.
