Strawberry Bread and Butter Pudding
  
 Strawberry Jam
 Ingredients:
500g( 1lb 2 punnets) Strawberries
Juice 1 Lemon
2 cups Sugar
 Method:
Chop Strawberries and place in large dish and cover. Microwave on High 
for 4 minutes
 Stir in Lemon Juice and Sugar. Microwave uncovered on High for 20 
minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Allow to cool
 
Pudding
 Ingredients:
Sliced, Buttered Fruit Loaf
Strawberry Jam
1 punnet ( 8 ozs) Chopped Strawberries
2 TBSPNS Chopped Glace Ginger
600Ml ( 1pint) Custard
1 1/2 TBSPNS Milk
Flaked Almonds
 
Method:
Cover base of a casserole dish with sliced Fruit Loaf (raisin bread or 
cinnamon bread will work too), Butter side down. Spread with jam. 
Sprinkle with chopped Strawberries and Glace Ginger. Cover with half of 
the Custard
 Another layer of Fruit loaf and Jam. Mix Milk with remaining Custard and 
spread over the top. Sprinkle with flaked Almonds
 Bake in 180C (350F)oven for 40 minutes.
 (A punnet is an 8 oz container that strawberries come in. Glace ginger 
is candied ginger)
