PIZAZZ PITA POCKETS
(Serves 6)
I N G R E D I E N T S
1 pound Ground Turkey
1/2 cup onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 can (8-ounce) tomato sauce
1 can (2 1/2-ounce) sliced black olives, drained
6 pita bread rounds
1 1/2 cups lettuce, shredded
1 large tomato, chopped
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

Fry ground turkey, onion and garlic in skillet until turkey is browned. Stir in salt, tomato sauce and olives. Cook 5 minutes. Cut Pita pockets in half. Fill with lettuce, meat mixture, tomato, and cheese.
