Heat oil in a large deep skillet over medium-high heat. Add patties to skillet; cook 2 minutes. Reduce heat to medium; turn patties and continue cooking 2 minutes or until golden brown. Transfer to a plate; set aside. Add onion and bell pepper to skillet; cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add baked beans, butter beans, brown sugar, catsup and vinegar to skillet; bring to a simmer. Simmer uncovered 10 minutes; top with patties. Continue cooking 3 minutes or until patties are no longer pink in center. Makes 4 servings. |
