Mother's Meatloaf 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef 1/4 t. pepper 1 cup milk 1/2 t. sage 2 3/4 slice of bread 2 eggs 1/2 of 8 oz. can tomato sauce 1 rounded Tbsp. dry onions 1-1/8 tsp. salt
Add bread to milk, then add two beaten eggs. Add all the rest, mix well. Put topping on and bake at 350 degrees - 1-1/2 hours
TOPPING: 1/2 can of 8 oz. tomato sauce 5 Tbsp. Brown sugar rounded tsp. mustard 1/4 tsp. nutmeg Mix together and spoon on unbaked meatloaf
