BEER CHOLENT from Cantor Joel Kessler ingredients - 1 pound of cholent beans soaked overnight
- 1 pound of stew beef
- 4 potatoes
- 1 large onion
- 1 Tbs minced garlic
- 1/2 pound of Pastrami
- 1 kishka cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 can of beer
- salt and pepper to taste
- water to cover
directions - Place all ingredients into a four quart crock pot and let cook overnight.
