HAM NOODLE SKILLET
4 ounces canned whole mushrooms
2 cups cooked ham -- cubed
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons margarine -- melted
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
Dash paprika
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup water
4 ounces medium egg noodles
1 cup sour cream
Drain canned mushrooms, reserving 1/4 cup liquid. Set aside. Sauté ham,
green pepper, and onion in margarine in a large skillet. Stir in black
pepper, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce. Add water, reserved mushroom
liquid, and noodles; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20
minutes, adding mushrooms the last 5 minutes. Stir in sour cream; cook until
thoroughly heated. (Do not boil.)
