Pumpkin Pie Cake
1 15 oz. can pumpkin
3 eggs, beaten
1 large can evaporated milk
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1 cup sugar
Topping;
1 box yellow cake mix
1 cup chopped nuts (pecans are good)
1 stick margarine
Mix first 8 ingredients well. Pour into well greased 9 by l3 inch pan. Sprinkle cake mix over the above pumpkin mixture. Sprinkle nuts over the top of cake mix. Drizzle margarine over all.
Bake at 350 degrees, 45 to 50 minutes. Test as for custard, knife comes out clean.
