July 7th ~ Before the New Roof
July 8th
Chrystie the Tonkinese talks. A lot. One of her favorite phrases sounds like "OH-oh".
When she heard the men trouncing around on the roof, her eyes got as wide as saucers, and there were many, many "OH-oh"s interspaced with the occasional "MrrWOW" when 'mom' didn't take this frightening noise seriously enough.
Tosh, on the other hand, looked up briefly from his nap and then went back to sleep.
We left the cats and workers and went to get my hair cut, and then on to my blood test before going to Lucile's in Longmont for breakfast of beignets and eggs benedict.
Dorothy's usual after-the-bloodtest look ~
<sigh>
Back home, and the workers were missing, but fortunately only for a little while.
Rain was expected, and we wouldn't have liked to have the roof left bare.
The back of the house.
We had to go out again later in the afternoon, and when we came home all of the 'felt' and 'ice cover' were on and everything had been cleaned up.
