I just thought some of you who worked and knew Katie would want to pay your last respects. She was my Chief Steward in the 90's for local 7200, she was fierce in protecting members rights. They just don't make them like her anymore. She will be missed.

Marion.

My condolences to all of you in Katie's labor family, as well as her family and friends.  She came to Seattle during re-engineering and helped us through some tough times.  She fought tirelessly for all us and her common sense and humor will be missed.  Treasure the memories, honor her work, give someone a hand-up, stand-up for someone, even yourself in her honor.  As a steward and especially as a president that did as much as she did, there is no amount of money that could compensate you for all you do, they tell us our reward will be in Heaven.  Katie finally got her just reward.  Hope someone is there to make sure she got the time and a half and double pay for all those extra hours!!!  Rest in peace Katie!!  Thank you for all you did for every one of us.  You made a difference, a big one.

What a shock. AND what a loss for all of us. Absolutely noone could question Katie's integrity and sincere desire to help others. A loss for us as Younionists and as people.
