Mostly the same info as discussed here, but Rossi added insight to the TA process and the company recent mobilization. Additionally, info about how a strike will impact the recent surplus. Will you  abandon your job if you honor the strike and therefore the company will not honor your package? I left with more ???'s than I started with.

I was just made aware that if you are working on the Footprint Project project any job types that are IBBRV are NOT showing up on your scorecard. I think they are working to correct the issue.....but make sure you are getting credit for these when your scorecard comes out.

Def I will.  Rossi has always been responsive. But, I dont know if there are answers to my questions..... Why is the Company mobilizing for our Union? Do they want to tick us off to vote the contract down?  Why the surplus and the TA ratification at the same time?  Why does our BC seem to work for the company- not the members?  Why is there not clear and open and functioning and ongoing communications with District 7, BC and the Local-  not just at contract or election time??  I dont know how this will all play out- but the 2nd TA is worse than the first- and our leadership  or lack thereof -(District 7) seems to have left the membership  out of the equation.

Parity if we go on strike and the employee hasn't left payroll yet.  Qwest would have to honor the  VSPP offer (its a ERISA plan) or they would face a ULP with the NLRB.  If Qwest said work and they honored the picket line until their off payroll date, the member would be coded as on strike and would not be paid, but would still get the package.

No problem here with me.......was just reffering to all the people coming out of the woodwork that are getting concerned all of the sudden. I've had several people ask me over the course of the last few days "what's up with the contract.....whats all of this about"? After resisting the urge to smack them in the head for living under a rock, I take the time to answer their questions and explain things to them. And I tell them to make sure they vote and get their ballots sent in on time. I don't tell them how to vote...I just tell them TO vote

That is the funny part.  How can we get them to vote, if they don't get their ballots.
  Quite the irony.
