Warning Warning Warning.

Santa screwed up. He brought my 8 year old son a Shellshocker RC toy for Christmas. This hasn't been on the store shelf for a couple years, so Amazon.com was the choice. Nowhere in the description did it mention about the batteries. Now this isn't your normal "run to Walgreens on Christmas day" type of battery. It's a special 7.2V NiCad and charger. $40 extra (+gas). Now it's really not the extra hour of OT that it takes to pay for it, it's the fact that my 8 year old has this toy he can't play with until we get him the battery. It's not available here in my city of 50,000. So tomorrow morning we drive 100 miles round trip to a town of 8000 to get the only one they have.

Merry Christmas all, it really was a great one. Even with a mishap or two.
