Coffee Break

"Positioning You- Part 2"

"In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will." Ephesians 1:11

Let's talk about Abraham again this morning and God's call to leave his home land.  Yesterday we discussed the fact that had Abraham not gone because he did not understand why God was sending him out, where God wanted him to go or what was God's reason behind it he would have missed a tremendous blessing that God had for him.  He would have missed his destiny and God's plan for a whole nation.

This morning I just want to remind you that God is always up to something!  God was up to something when He told Abraham to leave.  Abraham did not know what it was, but God was in the process of doing something on Abraham's behalf that would effect his whole life and generations to come.  When Jesus hung on the cross, God was up to something.  The princes of this world never would have crucified the Lord of glory had they known what it was. (1 Cor. 2:8)  God was providing a way for mankind to have eternal life.  When Daniel was taken prisoner by the enemy, it looked like the end of the world for him, but God was up to something.  God was putting him in a place to give him favor with the king so that God could glorify Himself before heathen nations.

I don't know what you are going through today, the devil may be "tormenting" and tempting you, but don't fret or worry... God is up to something.  God is working behind the scenes to accomplish His purpose in your life.  He is up to something on your behalf even though it doesn't look like it.  He is up to something even though the situation looks hopeless, fearful or impossible.

It's not always important for you to understand or know what He is up to.  Your part is to trust.  And trust God you can!  He is "up to something" and it will work together for your good if you love Him and put your faith and confidence in Him.

Have a great day.  It may not appear so... but God is up to something on your behalf.
