Anybody having difficulty connecting to the Internet, please take notice. The last Windows update which took place early on the month did not go without a glitch. One of the updates included changing the way your computer handles DNS requests. After the computer adjusted to the update, ZoneAlarm was left out in the dark, because it couldn't recognize the changes. All ZoneAlarm knew to do was block traffic and that caused all kind of problems for a great many people including yours truly! This was a mis-communication between the manufacturer of the firewall and Microsoft. So please don't run to have your pc repaired, a patch is been distributed right now. Mine must have arrived two days ago since I have not had any problems connecting.
One thing you must not do is disable the firewall. You may set it to medium, but not disable or you will then have bigger problems to contend with.
God bless.
