A Thanksgiving Prayer
Lord, on this Thanksgiving Day,
There is something that I wish to say.
Lord, I thank You for all the blessings
You send my way.
I always find some in each and every day.

Each day You send the sun to shine on me.
A blessing from you is what I see.
Or, in the laughter of of a child.
Or, a baby when they've smiled.
Or, when I hear the birds that sing.
This, too, Lord is a special blessing.

Even if there were a hundred Thanksgiving days,
I couldn't acknowledge all the ways.
That you shower your blessings down on me,
to give me joy, peace and tranquility.
So, thank you, Lord, for all you do.
Oh, and yes, Lord, I love you, too.

Dearest Heavenly Father,
For Thanksgiving this year, we pray that the hungry
will be fed, the naked will be clothed, the homeless
will find shelter, and the sick in body will be healed.
We pray the cold will be warmed.

We also pray that those that do not know you personally,
will seek you and find peace, love, joy, mercy, grace,
kindness, comfort and strength and all other things that
You are. We adore you, Father. We lift Your Name on High
and as the cheribums, sing Holy, Holy, Holy, so do we Lord.

Father, bless those families that meet together this time of year
for pleasure, a good meal and memories. Bless also those that
are lonely. Be with them, Please. And Father be with our troops
around the world and let each and every one see and feel a
miracle this week.
We say this prayer in the Holy Name of Jesus.
