Mrs. P's Haven of Refuge Happy Thanksgiving How thankful Lord I am, that you have blessed me with a home and I am not on the streets. Bless those who are homeless Lord... Thank You, Lord, that I am not alone but will give thanks with my family tomorrow. Even with all the problems I thank You, Lord, for I see Your awesome hand working in our lives. Thank You for bringing us closer together and mending relationships... Bless those Father who will spend this holiday alone.... Comfort those who's families are torn apart and work your healing touch in their hearts... Thank You, Lord, that our income is sufficient. You have given us enough to stay warm, put food, on the table, meet our needs and still be able to give to You and Your people. Bless those Father who are needy and do not have the means to meet their needs... Oh how thankful, Lord, that You have kept our Grandson safe as he serves his country in Iraq. Wrap Your arms around those families who have lost loved ones in defense of our country. Comfort them as only You can. Be with our men and women who will spend Thanksgiving without their families, blessing them mightily for the sacrifices they are making for our freedom... Father, my heart cries for the people, especially the children of the war torn countries. How horrible it must be. My heart overflows with humble thankfulness, for Your protective hand on America, that my children and grandchildren have never suffered the fear and hardship of those children in the other countries. Father, take the scales from our eyes.. wake us up to Your blessings of freedom before it is to late... Thank You, Lord, for the beautiful friendships You have sent me through God's Family on the internet. I ask that you bless them one hundred fold for the blessing they have been to me and so many others as they work to spread Your love and salvation. Meet their needs this Thanksgiving Father in a mighty way... Sweet Abba, these are only a small portion of my many blessing, but most of all I am thankful for Your love, for choosing me to be your child, unworthy that I am. My heart overflows with admiration and worship for the greatest gift of all...the unconditional love that was given that day at Calvary. All that I have and all that I am came from my Savior allowing His arms to be spread on a tree, saying... I love you enough to be crucified, to die that you might live.. Oh what a Savior..oh Hallelujah! "Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!" 2 Cor 9:15 |
