~OUR COMPASSIONATE SAVIOR~

" Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we
may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."
---Hebrew 4: 14-16
***************
In this life, we go through many things which others may not understand.  Although we may not always understand each other, we have One who is touched by the feelings of our infirmities, and always understands all we go through.

Historians tell us that James the Fifth, of Scotland, often laid aside his royal robe as a king and put on the clothes of an ordinary man.  In his disguise, he would go out among the people, entering into their service and sorrow.

When he would sat as King again on the throne, he was better able to rule over the people with compassion and care.  This is what our Blessed Lord did for us.  Jesus laid aside the glory which He had in heaven and took on the role of a servant.  He became like men and went through the things which we go through.  Our Savior  knows all about our pains and sorrow.  He also experienced problems and understands all we go through.  If one is a sinner, our sinless Christ understands their need for a Savior.  He came to earth to live, die, and be resurrected, that men might be forgiven and have eternal life.

Because our Lord understands, we have the freedom to go boldy before
His throne of grace and find mercy to help in our times of need.  We
can be assured there is someone who always understands.  "Let
go and let God" is more than a motto.  It should be the way of life
for a Christian.  We don't have to bear our burdens alone.  With the
strength of our Lord behind us, we are made sufficient for all we
might face, through Christ.

The many things we may wonder about now,  we will one day
understand.  The sufferings of this world are not worthy
to be compared with the glory to be revealed hereafter.
We give thanks for our  God who always understands and
loves us with a love which will never fail.

Blessings In Christ,
