</MYMAILSTATIONERY> MY favorite time of day is
sundown. It is usually a quiet,
tranquil time for me, when the
day's activities wind down.
Most of all, I love to be outside
at this time to watch the
sunset. I'm always inspired by
the beauty of a sunset; but
surprisingly the most beautiful
sunsets are those where the
setting sun's rays have to work
their way through clouds.
The interaction of light
and clouds produces magnificent
hues and scenes that are
spectacular and breathtaking.
A cloudless sunset can never
duplicate such beauty.
Our lives are much the same.
Working through difficulties
often brings out the real beauty
in a person. Whether it is
clouds or trials, God can
use something that we usually
think of as negative to produce
awesome results.
The Bible teaches us not to
shrink from the troubles that
come to us because of our faith.
Rather, we are to be thankful
for them and even to rejoice
in them. Some of God's most
beautiful masterpieces are
created when there are
clouds. Darrell Boone
