Just a thought and a question
Was reading and thinking about Abraham and Issac
and how God told him to go up the mountain and sacrifice his son. Then it crossed my mind here was a young boy he was strong. Was going up the mountain with his Father. He did ask, on the way he said we have the fire and the wood where is the sacrifice and his Father said God will find the sacrifice, then when they got there Abraham prepares the sacrifice. Then he ties up Isaac. I wondered what Isaac was thinking at that momment.
Why did he let his Father tie him up his Father was old he could have stopped him
Why did he agree to be sacrificed he was going to let his Father kill him.
I wondered if he knew the promise of God also Would Abraham have told him.
Wondered if anyone else had any ideas

To me my sister - it has the following meaning.
As Jesus was obedient unto
His death so was Issac obedient unto his Father
For this was a coming prophecy
for just as Abraham lifted Issac
So did the Father lift Jesus.

To me my sister - the key word here is
 going up
For Jesus was raised up on a cross
Jesus Rose on the 3rd day
Jesus rose to his Father

Love Micah

To Me it is the testing of Abraham, as well as a prophecy of things to come in the form of the Father's only Son.  For He carried His Cross just as Issac and he also allowed himself to be tied upon that cross.  Hence I see many prophecy's in this one passage.  Love Linda
