DUST ON THE BIBLE

Lord, indeed send your messengers to watch over me, but also place within me an ability to be a watchman of mine own self.

I know You watch over me and, by your Holy Spirit, you remind me of my responsibilities, but the bottom line is - I must respond.

Therefore make me also to be a watchman. Make me to "watch" what I say and what I do. For me to depend entirely on you to do the "watching" would keep me a child, but my desire is to be

a fullgrown son!

Do not allow what Thou hast purposed

for me to abort.

Keep me in the womb of learning

and in the judement of Thy court

Until all that has begun in me

to fullnss has come.

Let not the mature son Thou hast

meant for me to be,

Prematurely come to birth

lame, deaf and unable to see.

Let me grow to fulness - that the

voice of my spirit be not dumb.

Let my eyes be clear - my voice

able to speak plain.

Let my ears hear distinctly.

Let me be born with Thy Name,

That I may be an heir - pleasing to Thee,

a fullgrown Son.
