Shalom Dear Brothers and Sisters Immanuel God with us! "Behold a virgin shall conceive and bear a Son and His name shall be Immanuel", Isaiah 7:14. As I sat out in my little booth realizing that this was the season that my Messiah had come down, leaving the bosom of our Heavenly Father to come down and tabernacle with us I could barely comprehend! Prior to His coming, He had been in the cloud and the pillar in the wilderness with His chosen people whom He had ransomed and redeemed and delivered from Pharaoh's hand. Living amongst His people training them and teaching them to follow His ways speaking face-to-face with Moses his servant. Once again the same nation of people were crying out for a deliverer not just any deliverer a Messiah. They were waiting for the one Messiah, the one all the prophets had spoken of. From the first prophecy of His coming in Genesis 3:15 the seed of the woman. The Messiah would be of the tribe of Judah Genesis 12:3, 18:18. The one Moses himself spoke of in Deuteronomy 18:18 "I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brethren I will put my words in His mouth and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. 19, and it shall be that whoever will not here My Words which He speaks in My Name I will require it of him". Also, the Messiah would be the Son of God Psalm 2:7, Matthew 3:17, Mark 1:11 and Luke 3:33. Ultimately our Messiah was born in Bethlehem Micah 5:2, Matthew 2:1 and Luke 2:4-7. As I was reading the account of Yeshua's birth in Luke I was amazed as I pondered to realize the very King of the universe came wrapped in swaddling clothes in a manger. Reading the accounts of His birth brought new and fresh meaning as I sat in my Sukkot. Mine was much more comfortable and cleaner. I thought of the swaddling clothes prophetic picture that would be the last thing He would wear after paying the price for our redemption! I thought of how amazing it must've been for the shepherds that night were tending the flocks. These weren't just any flocks these were the sheep that would mate so as to produce pure spotless lamb's in time for the following Passover six months later. Can you just imagine being outside in the dark watching over the flocks were all of a sudden tons of Angels appear before you announcing good news and singing and then leaving again! No wonder they took off and ran into town to find things just as the Angels said it was! First of all they must've been blinded by the light and then blinded by the darkness then finally what excitement must have risen up inside of their hearts to realize their long awaited Messiah had finally arrived! I thought of the Kings bearing the gifts how had they even known that there would be a King so great that they were eagerly watching the stars and the seasons for His coming! That they would have loaded up tons of gifts to bring to Him and lay before this little babe lying humbly in a manger! He would need all of that money and those gifts to escape and hide away in Egypt to fulfill another prophecy, Hosea 11:1 "out of Egypt have I called my son". Yeshua fulfilled every prophecy ever spoken of Him and I do not have room to list all of them here. The point I'm trying to share with you is that Tabernacles is the most wonderful and joyous feast. Yeshua Himself celebrated it! Imagine what He must have felt once again He was dwelling amongst His people. In the same body in a human form the form He created in the garden of Eden! He gave everything up to be restricted in a very physical human form with every feeling both emotionally and physically that we have! He walked and He talked, He gave up His omnipotence and omnipresence to tabernacle with us and ultimately be rejected, abandoned and die for us! He shared these secrets with me one day when I was feeling frustrated being trapped in the body. He understands what it's like to be trapped in a body. I don't have time here to share with you all the secrets He shared with me that day, but know this, He loves us enough to come and tabernacle and comfort us when we need it! He rose from the dead triumphant! One day He will return to set up His Kingdom and we will tabernacle together again! B'Shem Yeshua Hamashiach In His Love, Theresa |
