I had a fair conversation with Nellie yesterday. Her breathing seems somewhat improved, although still choking at time. I counted four times in about 8 minutes with a duration of about 7 seconds per episode. Her abilities to think are also improving. I did asked her if she knew who I was. She responded with the same argument I get when I talk to her on our regular basis 'oh, yes! The beautiful redheaded woman from the mountains' (Don't even try to figure why she has always called me that, but I am not about to argue with her or try to change her mind)
She is complaining as clearly as she possibly can, that she is better off at home. I keep arguing that she is just fine where she is, particularly since she still need special care until her body is completely stable and she is capable of doing for herself.
She keeps quiet... a rare occurence between us, since she is always and forever arguing with me and telling me what is best...(sigh, she worked in a hospital in her youth and she came out fully vested as physician!)
Anyway, I just wanted you to know how well she is doing. I am extremely pleased with the reports we are also getting.
God bless you all and thank you for the prayers.
