Everyone! So, for those of you who don't know, I have cervical cancer(small cell, which is a very rare, aggressive cancer with no known cause)and have been dealing with it for a year or more now. I have been through loads of chemo and radiation treatments, but it's finally time to get rid of it tomorrow(08/11/08) through a full hysterectomy. The tumor started @ 8 cm., but through treatments, which had to be done for it to shrink before surgery could be done, now it has shrunk to about 2 cm. which is awesome. I'm so ready for this to all be over, so I'm excited about the surgery, but scared at the time! I have wonderful doctors,radiologists, and nurses working with me, thank God! Chris has been awesome and so supportive through everything, as well as my whole family! My mom and sister have also taking very good care of me, Chris and Aiden. I have a wonderful support group. It's been tough, but God's been with me and carried me through all of it! I want to thank everyone for their prayers and well wishings.

Well, when the doctor opened her up, he found cancer everywhere and didn't even do the hysterectomy...he just closed her back up and came out of surgery in tears. He says she has 12 months to live at the most. As I write this, Emily doesn't even know any of this yet. She has been knocked out and doesn't even know she didn't have a hysterectomy.


I'm calling for all prayer warriors to stand in the gap and take this to our Master Physician!

Emily is my nephew's wife (my sister's son's wife). She just turned 25 last week and her and Chris (my nephew) have a 2 year old little boy.
