Yes mam, I have joined Multiply and Yuku and Family Lobby. Of the three, I like Family Lobby for the sake of privacy. On Multiply, watch your settings or you will be hearing from friends of friends of friends (that is the way it multiplys). I quickly shut that one down. I didn't care for it but still have a site there. But I changed my settings to keep it closed to the public.
On Yuku, I got a manager of another group madder than he** at me because I like the site. It seems to havea lot to offer. But she said the first thing she saw was porn. She must have been living under a rock, porn is all of the net. You don't have to click on it unless you want to see it. I know where the delete button on my keyboard is. LOL! I apologized but the feeling for the group quickly disappeared and I resigned my membership with her group. And I don't miss her!
Family Lobby is where I set up my family website but you can set up a group there as well. I have invited my two grown kids and I'm going to invite a few email friends.
It all depends on what you want for your group, privacy for members only or open it to the public
to gain a large membership. That is your decision.
Today I looked at Zetaboards, Ning, Webpaint and ProBoards. Of all of them and from what I could see without joining, Zetaboards looked the best.
I'll continue as time permits to look at various sites and let you know if I hit on something that is wonderful. I do like Family Lobby and you might want to take a peek at it. If you want, I'll send you an invitation to my site so you can just look around. It is a nice place and I feel very safe there.
I would suggest (if you want my opinion) is to wait and see what MSN Live is going to do. I just don't like Multiply at all and most of the groups I'm in don't like it either.
