the husband of the late psychic, or at least the late phenomenom, in alternate realities, Jane Roberts; is Robert Butts, who wrote the notes for all of her books verbatim.

He died this year, and of course, people, will always try to memorialize others, and that's nice I think, except when it  goes overboard and they (the people and followers of a certain guru), tend to make them larger then life.

I liked some of Jane's books and Ideas, but I don't think she really knew all there is to know.

But it's for her and her adherents to decide for themselves.

I think however, she gave me, a lot of thought, new thought that perhaps, I'd not have had, without her, about Alternate Realities, and Multiple Universes......and just time in general to contemplate.

This is her husband's Memorial on this video, showing his  paintings that Rob did, as well as the house they lived in during his marriage to Jane. He ultimately married again, a young woman named Laurel, who is seen towards the end of the video.

I feel rather skeptical about this group of "wanna-bes", but perhaps there is something to it, (I just haven't yet studied them enough to really have an opinion) but I wanted to save this link in case I ever find the time to bother with it.

Supposedly, it's a group, founded by a PhD. (Paul Helfrich?) and his wife, Joanne, and supposedly, she is a channeler, (like Jane Roberts), but instead of Seth, it's Rose.....
So, Jo-Rose is the name they use.

Jo-Rose then, is supposedly giving info which is of a higher source, but I really wonder about all of this to tell the truth, (highly skeptical)

Dream research remains in its infancy in the West, having only recently acknowledged lucid dreaming, but mostly from a modern materialist perspective. To date researchers have mapped four main brain states, though there may be others that current equipment can not yet detect:

  1. Beta ~ 14-100 cycles per second, normal alert waking state. Higher range associated with anxiety, dis-ease, fight or flight conditions.
» Gamma ?a subset of Beta, 40 cycles per second, but range from 24 to 70 cycles per second. Associated with an alert waking state, these have been found in meditative and lucid dreaming (REM) states. (Included as a subset because they are assoicated with a sense of clarity and wakefulness in the brain and mind, even though the rest of the body may be in a sleep, meditative, or trance state.)
  2. Alpha ~ 8-13.9 cycles per second, just below the normal state of alertness. Associated with light relaxation, daydreaming, and self-reflection. A non-drowsy, yet relaxed, tranquil state of inward awareness that occurs before sleep. Beginning access to subconscious mind.
  3. Theta ~ 4-7.9 cycles per second, deep relaxation, reverie, lucid dreaming, mental imagery, meditation, increased memory and focus, deep-rooted memories, and inspiration. Characterized mainly by light sleep, rapid eye movement (REM) dreams, and hallucinations. Hypnogogic imagery, deep meditation, access to subconscious mind.
  4. Delta ~ .1-3.9 cycles per second, the deepest, most rejuvenating stage of dreamless, non-REM sleep and deep meditation. It also produces stress reduction, which can promote healing of the body. Human growth hormones released and loss of body awareness.

The way this group came about, was as followers of both Jane Roberts, Rob Butts & Seth's Material.
They then (as followers" and created splinter type groups) I suppose you'd call them, and gather here on this forum both as a group and also meet socially . I think it's harmless......and who knows?

Yeah, I just read this one, and I DO think it's all hype and a bunch of crap, (excuse my venicular), but it is a bunch of crap!
At least they entertain themselves as a bunch of friends might getting together here as long as they don't expect much for the $$$
