i just noticed that I have my asc on chiron.....that makes my current changes seem alright.....just so you know....either way how my marriage turns out....if it ends or not....I am okay....just the not knowing and waiting!

AR: I started a thread here for "Fixed Stars and Critical Degrees", with various links for study along these lines:

 

There is the real "authority one" for the Fixed Stars by Anne Wright......as well as the more "quick takes" on the c ritical degrees which I keep nearby, to try & get a better handle on those.

 

We ALL have some of them in our Natal charts, (because we are imperfect & human, lol)..........so don't be intimidated by studying them.

 

I found they REALLY help me, to otherwise, get a grasp on a chart, I sometimes cannot see otherwise (check that thread, you'll see some examples there of charts that Without using the Fixed or Critical Degrees, one might not SEE as  well just with aspects alone.........

 

Here is one of my favorites to use:

 

(apparently she's culled down, to the very most important places to watch out for in the degree placements.........but I've learned too, that not to take it too literally.)

 

For instance, when the ancients or she says, "this degree is fatal"............it probably means, "Fated".......or fated to be strong and important.

 

Just don't take too literally, it can be a good guide for you.

well just looking at my own chart....progressions and transits.....it doesnt look good...again not saying that its bad....but I counted 4 not so good signs....and that is not just in relation to my relationship to my husband. I feel better for some reason.

Chiron, (our inner wound), yes, at 20Ari. could be considered critical for a loss in life, affecting your entire life.  I'm sure you've had many

 

It may not help, but with my life, I've come to understand my losses were all "fated", and just would occur regardless.....as it is to my soul's benefit, (even though consciously I cannot see the WHY or the WHEREFOR,,,I've come with help of Astrology, to just have faith, it's for my greater growth........

AR: I'm thinking that (I have a 21Cancer Ascendent), it's in the sign of "loss"........for ME, then, I've suffered AS WELL, with being "seen", as someone I am not.

 

I'm a loving, caring, & truly spiritual person, who devotes most of my life to helping others, online & elsewhere (such as in Africa),.........in order to help myself. (by helping others, we likewise, end up helping ourselves)........BUT,

 

with the AC in the "loss degree"........YES you are correct.

 

In this life, for whatever reasons, "karmic?" probably, I then am "saddled", with others making interpretations about my representation, or myself, that aren't even based in a reality that I myself possess.

 

So, if life is truly "all an illusion", which it truly IS (according to the Buddhist understanding, AND verified, by Quantum Physics, THEN, it is to say, that we create out Own Reality.....en masse and individually.

 

By "en masse" the symbols astrologically are the 11th House, (others and the masses), Uranus, "others", and other symbolic representations in our charts.,or, "The whole".

 

Now back to your question. (sometimes I get off track)

 

This "illusionary self", or the ASC in the projection, (metaphysically speaking), and Astrologically speaking, when in the "loss degree", will do just that!.............in the "outer realm" that others ? inhabit, they will probably identify with  us as someone we are not.

 

This has been true my entire life, (and I'm now 59)..........

 

They (for instance), in Astrological terms, see me as "vain",? Leo Moon?      or..........too smug, "Capricorn Sun??"......or just to chatty & mouthy "Venus in Sagittarius".........

 

but what they are seeing, and judging, AR is truly within themselves, and not me at all.

 

You see, each of us is a reflective mirror.......It works this way on this plane of reality, in order to help us to understand and know ourselves.......

 

You ARE NOT a loser, anymore then I am!..........it is they who "lose", by not looking deeper for the real person, beyond the symbolic, 21st degree Sun or ASC.

Here is my 21degree (loss) AC in Cancer..........certainly I am one of the more compassionate people I know,...so it can't mean that.      it means, "how others relate & see us", that this will be our karma, how we've decided to employ this degree and position to then "overcome these obstacles of making the self, the be all that ends all, lol".............

 

It was our OWN choice to be born the time we were born! with all the designations & assignings of degrees/planets/aspects, etc.

 

None of us (at this stage in development, ) are perfect.  So we all need to work on any senstive parts of ourselves, & understand them for what they truly are......

 

Compare my Sidereal (Equal house) Vedic Chart, as the ancients would read it, to my Tropical........

 

You see, in Sidereal, I have no 21st degree Rising....and neither do you!!

 

It (the tropical chart), is simply a "tool", we "use", to understand and develop ourselves, and not at all a concrete reality in time.

 

It's a "subjective tool" then.......to help us to evolve as souls.

 

(I hope I make a degree of sense here, no pun intended) LOL

 

I'll post the Sidereal Next, just to show you how it "all changes".......

 

in the Sidereal Charts, all of our personal planets are pushed back approx. 23 degrees.

 

so some of us find our planets like the Sun/Moon/Rising, and even others, in "different signs", ............the Vedic does not employ critical degrees.......this is simply (I think?) a Western thing and again, only a tool....sort of like a psychic employs a crystal ball or tarot card read uses cards.

 

So, don't take it too literally, or too much to heart (I don't)......

 

You know who you are.  It doesn't matter what others think.

 

Of course, I was "very hurt", by the rejection at H/Chat by others, as I was elsewhere in my personal life.     but that's just human and my Cancer feelings.  Others there once said of me, for instance, "She is vain", "She is too smug", "She thinks too highly of herself", "its her Leo moon", LOL

 

All these statements .......

 

Now I could have laid down, taken it to heart and of course even chosen to believe other's version of me.  Until I learned early in life to be "true to myself", is to see the truth.

 

Leo Moon people, are not vain, like theSun Leo, or the Leo Rising......

 

What they are, are people who feel "emotionally", okay with themselves, are very very self-confident, (internally), and don't really give a "hoot" about what the other guy is thinking or doing.

 

This isn't to say I don't "care" about my fellow man, (because I do), so of course, I get hurt too......but it's not my "pride", that these folks thought it was with a Leo Moon.

 

Rather, it's THEIR OWN personal, Leo rising, or their Leo in the 15th Degree in the "Maximum Intensity" that made me rub Them the wrong way!

 

So, viewing ME thru THEIR lenses in life, (see???)........encouraged them to view me, as they truly are themselves. I was simply "the catalyst"

 

Let me explain further......Every single on of these people, who tried to destroy my reputation on that site, has Leo either Rising, in a very very critical degree (the 15th degree of Leo) for instance, which is said, to be the "worse Degree of the Zodiac"..........

 

Therefore, my presence, my personal way I projected myself, (my Leo Moon), with it's "self-confidence" was then seen by them as a THREAT!

 

It (my moon) ACTIVATED within their own selves, (sort of like a transit would), hateful images of me, which they simply chose not to contain........they lashed out (but truly, if you saw their charts all 5 of them, you'd understand what I'm saying here).........

 

I simply became the "Catalyst", like a Transit would be a "catalyst", for enacting within them (like a mirror), that which they themselves, have. i.e. the vanity......they then projcted onto me, (psychologically speaking).......

 

I think you'll "get" what I'm trying to say.

 

Don't take upon yourself, the hurt that others inflict then, AR, because you aren't the true "loser", unless you do this, and let their mirror images, then reverse itself,onto you!

 

You are far more then this simple ego you know as AR......The "more" you are is also seen in the Sidereal chart.

 

You are a spiritual being, with karma (as we all have), to interact with others on this planet in order to grow & evolve.

 

It's that simple.    Don't take it personally.

NO - I don't think so......I just checked your chart, and you have a SUN in the loss NOT the ASC (or your appearance to others, as the AC would mean,(like with me)......

 

So, with you, it's the Sun itself, (not ASC).....in this degree.

 

I would think then, it will affect you differently then me.

 

Perhaps, be more "inclined", to go down particular paths, which could harm your own soul?...........

 

But listen to me first.....Know that ALL of life is NOT FATED to fail.  We simply have degrees or charts which alert us to ourselves, our own failings from prior lives, and what we need to work on about ourselves.....

 

These then, (the charts) can be seen as "helpmates" on the road to finding out about ourself........For instance, you have Venus rising as well as Jupiter conjunct to Venus and both in Pisces.

This says to me, you are easily "inclined" towards being almost sacrificial in your nature (Venus in Pisces). and sometimes, too much so (Jupiter) for others.

 

This position then simply alerts us to this "propensity", it doesn't mean we "have to be that way", or have to give in to the vibrations......

 

Certain things in life are unavoidable,I"m sure, just out & our karmic debts. BUT others (like the vibrations in our charts, the critical degrees, etc. we can "learn to overcome", and then change for the better by overcoming the "inclinations" themselves.

 

Here is what Edgar Cayce said about the truth of Astrology:

 

 

             "The stars & Planets IMPEL,

                  they do not COMPEL"

 

This simply stated means, that we can overcome any "inclinations" or impelling............force by any planet or star.

by being aware & working on it.

                           

This transit then, (Chiron approaching the ASC), might be seen as "reopening old wounds>" which still need to be healed., relating perhaps, as you said, to how you or others may perceive you.

 

Again, read about my 21 degree ASC to get the picture, that you are not the loser, if you gain & learn by any experience, as all these words are "relative to" words....

 

I hope it all works out for you, in the end; with this love, but stay positive through it all, as I know you will be (Philosophical about it).....that's the lovely Sagittarius moon speaking, (ruled by the expansive & always generous Jupiter)
