 have my MC in 26.30 degrees of Leo, and IC in 26.30 degress of Aquarius. My Mars is making an exact conjunction to my MC, and an exact opposition to my North Node, which is in 26.42 degrees of Aquarius.

So, the situation is:

MC = 26.30 degree Leo
IC = 26.30 degree Aquarius
North Node = 26.42 degree Aquarius
Mars = 26.30 degree Leo

So, I have:
Mars exactly conjunct my MC and exactly opposing my IC; North Node exactly conjunct my IC and exactly opposing the EXACT conjunction between MC and Mars.

Quite a situation, eh?

I'm 17 years old, quite more intelligent than most of my peers at school, but I have a fascination with taking my body to its limits and exceeding those limits; I wanted to join the Navy and eventually become a Navy SEAL. I did a lot of research into the Navy SEALs and decided that it is just the right thing for me.

Recently, as I was walking to a doc's office to get a catscan on my sinuses (nose; apparently for all those 17 years I was breathing only at 75% of my max potential due to a crooked ridge in my nose and that explained all the headaches and fevers reaching 107 degrees I had when I was a child), I miscalculated the location and took the wrong route. I stumbled upon myself when I saw an office with the name "Navy Recruitment Office" right across the street. Let's see: I accidentally took the wrong route and found just what I needed. Fate? Since I'm still not finished with high school, I wasn't really searching for a recruitment center but nevertheless I entered and met the recruiter and everything went well until I told my parents.

I mean, I always told my parents I would go to try out at the Navy SEALs training program ever since I figured I wanted to become one, and after a while they said "okay, go son". That didn't even mean I would become one because training there is very tough with a drop-out rate of over 80%.

So now my father and I are in a deadlock. He is categorically against me going to the Navy, saying that my place is in the intellectual fields like law, banking, etc. I agree; I'm very intelligent and continuously have received highest grades in all my classes and its obvious that my career is ideally going to be in those intellectual fields. Even though I plan on going to college when I'm coming back, he says that there isn't any way he's going to let me go to the Navy and waste 6 years of my life.

This is the first time I've ever chosen my career path and actually did something about it like trying to sign up and this is the first time I've ever received such strong opposition from my parents, particularly my father. Do you think that astrological configuration I mentioned above has anything to do with this?

Thanks.
