Makemake, discovered 2005 Mar 31 discovered by M.E. Brown

Mike Brown is an astronomer at Caltech in Pasadena. He is best known for the discovery of Eris, the object beyond and bigger than Pluto, whose discovery led to the demotion of Pluto from a real planet to a dwarf planet.

The orbital period is 307.98 years and is estimated to be 2/3 the size of Pluto by diameter.

He will be considered a Plutoid, but by the 2006 definition, a dwarf planet.

Currently, 22 Virgo 28, that's right - almost an exact opposition to Uranus in Pisces.

Because he has an orbit longer than that of Pluto, according to astronomical criterion, he had to be named for a resurrection or creation deity... and a new bird man myth that heals the negativity of the birdman part of Sedna.

Use FY9 asteroid number
