this guy has become one of my favourite actors recently, someone told me about a show he did for tv where a fan tries to get inside his head.the show is called 'I'm with busey'. and during different episodes they deal with different themes and ideas. It's pretty funny but at the same time a little scary, busey seems to be a real livewire!

so I had a look on astrotheme at his chart and saw a wide conjunction of uranus to his midheaven, uranus in gem aspects his moon in libra and being a cancer stellium (sun, merc, venus) the aspects to his moon give his sun it's uranian nature.

IF I saw a movie coming up (and I seldom EVER watch movies anymore most are disappointments), BUT, if it starred Gary Busey, I'd probably be more apt to watch it, as he's one of my favorites too.

He's so very creative, and when he did the starring role in the true life story of "Buddy Holly", he does his own singing....(as Holly)
He was wonderful and he truly WAS Buddy Holly.
I'd recommend this movie to anyone interested in rock and roll as well as Busey and his singing debut.

It's worth the price to rent the DVD or Video, IMO.

Here are a few others from Wikipedia mentioned:
I wonder what that Turkish movie is like?

They say it's a very  fine line between true Genius and insanity, and Gary Busey has walked that line in his life often from what I recall.

In 1978, he starred as Buddy Holly in The Buddy Holly Story with Sartain as The Big Bopper. The movie earned Busey an Oscar nomination for Best Actor. In the same year he also starred in the critically-acclaimed surfing movie Big Wednesday.

In the 1980s, Busey's roles included Silver Bullet (adapted from Cycle of the Werewolf by Stephen King), Insignificance, and Lethal Weapon. In the movie, D.C. Cab, Busey portrayed the character, Dell. Dell, much like Busey at the time, was self-absorbed and using drugs regularly. At one point of D.C. Cab, Dell is singing along with a cassette recording of Gary Busey singing the song, Why Baby Why (which Busey recorded, but still remains unreleased)[6]. In the 1990s, he appeared in Predator 2, Rookie of the Year, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Under Siege, The Firm and Point Break.

Throughout the 70's and 90's, Busey would occasionally perform live. Busey sang the song "Stay All Night" on Saturday Night Live in March of 1979 and on the Late Show with David Letterman in the 90's.

In 2002, Busey voiced the character Phil Cassidy in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, then again in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories in 2006.

Gary Busey appeared in the 2006 Turkish film, Valley of the Wolves Iraq, (Kurtlar Vadisi: Irak, in Turkish). The film, accused of anti-Americanism,[7] and anti-Semitism,[8] tells the story of the U.S. Army run amok in Iraq, and brought into check by a brave Turkish soldier; Gary Busey plays a Jewish-American Army doctor who harvests fresh organs from injured Iraqi prisoners to sell to rich patients in New York, London and Tel Aviv.

msn not working right today (AGAIN)so it's hard to post today.

Anyway, check out this YouTube rendition of his voice, (Gary Busey) doing Buddy Holly hits..........and how he "moves" the blacks in teh audience in the late 1950s, the first person in rock and rock to do so.

They (the blacks) felt the "soul" in him, and dance with RAVE ON......
do watch Rave On, it's a Winner and always will be Buddy Holly's Signature:

this one is Gary Busey

here is the same one, but an AOL Video instead of YouTube:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

This one is the REAL  Buddy Holly (can you tell the difference?)

some of the hits that Busey does in the movie includes:

This one will take a minute to load first to hear but it's worth the patience:

Bo-Diddley:

Gary does the whole love story of Buddy & Peggy Sue beautifully in the "Buddy Holly Story"

here is a rare live version, but it takes a minute again to load (at least on my computer), which must be slow.

note that John Lennon likewise, tried to emulate Buddy Holly, and the Crickets (his band),
the Beatles were a "take off" of the Holly & the Crickets theme he admitted they were the inspiration for the "Beatles", (not unlike the Crickets)

True story.
