Just wanted to share with you two dreams I had about 6 months ago and spaced about 2/3 weeks apart.
Guess this is why I call myself Badger.

Dream One.
I am at my cousins house in his upstairs bedroom....we are looking out through the window.....its a large window that goes right down to the floor and there are smaller window hatches at the top. We can see the whole of their large garden....where we used to play as kids....in the dream I feel like I am my age now though it felt as though the previous dream events, which I can't recall, were from the past. So we are both looking out of the window and then all of a sudden we both see a Badger, trotting about in the Garden.....the badger notices we are looking at him and approches the window. Then the Badger furiousley scampers back and forth along the front of the window which is now at ground level. I realise he is trying to get in but can't because the only way in is through the small hatches at the top of the window. I am just watching these events unfold. Then all of a sudden I see the Badger jumping up and down, but I don't mean small jumps....I mean big impossible jumps for a Badger! like he was on a trampoline......but just bouncing up and down from the ground. I almost became lucid at that point, but I found the whole thing so amusing the events just continued. Hes bouncing up and down like this five or six times looking and, i swear, smiling at me. Then he makes it into the top hatch window, incredibly somehow makes it to the other side of the room onto a high shelf, in the blink of an eye, and then scarpers out through a small hatch window. I thought...how odd....then woke up.

Dream Two.
I cannot recall how I got there or why I was there. But I was in a beautiful countryside. I was now with a Badger who was by my side. This dream is a lot hazier than the first one. We are now at the entrance to an underground burrow. He leads me inside. Im in a large...no huge...cave with caverns and tree roots hanging down from the ceiling. All around me are things...living.....and warm orange lights....comforting.....I say living things because I can't recall their shape or anything...could've been humans or animals.....Im not sure. I do remember voices...talking...friendly chatter.....musing...almost like....a gathering just for the purpose of being here where I was now. I can't recall anything else though I know there was more.

thoughts feelings welcome
Tim

I'll tackle dream #2 first:

................We are now at the entrance to an underground burrow. He leads me inside. Im in a large...no huge...cave with caverns and tree roots hanging down from the ceiling.

The burrow itself, just like any other type of dwelling, be it an apartment, a home,(with various floors), a stadium, (with top deck and bottom decks.)......all of these are symbols of "where your own consciousness is dwelling), IMO.

So, a symbol then of an "entrance to an underground burrow" may well signify, you are being lead within, (to a cavelike, dwelling within your OWN consciousness, in order to then acess what you may discover there........

The many caverns, indicates then, (just as a house with many floors would indicate).......various realms, planes or niches of your own consciousness, which you've yet not discovered, but apparently, since you followed the badger, to his (your) cave, you are now beginning to open up to more places in your OWN consciousness.

Always remember in your dreams, upon awakening, ask yourself, "if the dream made me happy, or felt good,or was comfortable" to get then the emotion,

Since this dream obviously"felt" happy as you say, therefore good, this then will "color" the impression your subconcious mind is trying to get thru to your conscious self.

Therefore, I'm taking this one to be a "message " Dream as I term them from the subconscious state, and in this regard, from the "higher mind"........

You are being told then that there are many "caverns" to explore, the Burrow is a symbol of your complex, but yet, 12th house type of mentality or the planets including your personal Sun, (ego), which is housed there.

In otherwords,12th house people are already, (astrologically), secretive, burrowing, and into their own minds, in this very isolated house .......

We'll then put that fact into the understanding that this dream (your higher self) recognizes this about your personality, (one of many personalities of the soul)...........a satellite personality.

So it's "cloaking" the symbols, with the badger, the burrow, etc.

Does this make sense now?

Dream #1:

................in the dream I feel like I am my age now though it felt as though the previous dream events, which I can't recall, were from the past.

..................................................................................................................

This then is suggesting that time is naught, and only an illusion, (and in the dream state you'll note there is NO time, EVER......other then a confused exchange of timing events), so one may be young, old, or even in a different lifetime, but still "recognizable",to you in the dream states............

Dream One.
I am at my cousins house in his upstairs bedroom....we are looking out through the window.....its a large window that goes right down to the floor and there are smaller window hatches at the top. We can see the whole of their large garden....where we used to play as kids....

Again, like the other, this relates to your own "state" of consciousness.

Since YOU are not in YOUR own home, but rather a cousin's, I'd say that the dream is pointing this out, you need to be in YOUR OWN element, or state of consciousness & awarenss, and not in another's, although, it's not "bad" per se, only that the point is being looked at, i.e. "thru another's windows", or perhaps Perspective??...........just a hint here.

of course many of us when we dream and create symbols to then interpret, will deliberately put ourselves into all manner of enviorments, so this should be understood, as we ourselves are creating our own reality and/or enviornment.....everything else is just  a symbol then.

................Now the fact that your cousin & you are apparently close, OR as children were close, and enjoyed looking onto the gardens from various windows, gives one a "good feelling" I presume here, again another plus for the dream & it's emotional content.

a Badger, trotting about in the Garden.....the badger notices we are looking at him and approches the window. Then the Badger furiousley scampers back and forth along the front of the window which is now at ground level.

You said, "We".......so try & think about WHAT traits or mannerisms about this cousin is important to you?  What part of  his manifestation to your psyche does he then symbolize?..........Whenever others are in our dream state, WE are putting them there for just such a purpose, to "define" what the symbols are as they themselves are definitions of something to you.........(just a hint for future dreams).

The "badger" from dream 2 I've already ascertained, he symbolizes a part of your, your own consciousness.
He "tries to get your attention"............just like our higher self tries to get our attention in the dream realms.

The "impossible jumps",like on a trampoline, is purposeful, as an effort to "get your attention", I would think.

I like this dream and it's symbolic content.

There is an "Old joke " here in America, (and I'm old, lol), because I remember it, but it reminds me of this dream:

JOKE:
.............The farmer says you must treat the mule with respect and kindness, and then the farmer picked up a 2X4 and hit him, right over the head with it.

When the shocked onlooker asked"I thought you said, you must treat him with kindness & affection ?"....why did you do this?
The farmer Responded, " I DID, but FIRST, you must get his attention"

...........................................................................................

The badger is trying to get your attention, or rather "your higher self" is trying to get the attention going, of the conscious mind,/(ego), to then be able to work with you.

Other more enlightening dreams will follow once it sees it has "your attention"............so look for them.
