The dream starts off with a friend and I walking into a motel room. When we walked in, there were 3 bedroom sections, with walls, but no doors to seperate them from the main roon. Each bedroom area had a double bed and a set of 3 bunk beds. In the dream, I thought that mes 20 beds, so 20 people could sleep here. (It's really only 15) All the beds had white sheets, blue blankets and white pillows on them. My friend told me that she would take the 3rd one, and I said that I would take the 1st one. There was also a sofa and a TV in the main area. My friend said that because there was no kitchen or bathroom, we would have to go out to eat dinner. I turned the TV on, and sat down and saw that a Pearl Jam concert was on. "Come on, we need to eat", she said. "But I want to watch the concert", I told her. "You can watch it later, we need to eat", she said, so we walked out. The next thing, we must have eaten, because I told her that I was going to go back to watch the end of the concert. "Ok, you go, and I'll be back later", she said. Next thing, I opened the door, and she was standing there with a man. He looked familiar to me. "Diane, this is Rob", she said. As we shook hands, I lookd at him, and thought, 'No, you are not Rob, you are Richard Branson. (He owns Virgin Blue airlines)
There was like a mental telepathy between us, and I knew he was Richard Branson. He looked at me as if to say, please don't say who I really am. So, anyway, Richard/Rob walks over to a cork notice board on the wall, and un pins a business card. It had my work company name on it and then he asked me if it's mine. "Yes", I said. ( I work for a share registry, and take calls regarding peoples shares and corporate takeovers, etc) "Can we discus the Qantas takeover bid?" he asked me. I told him we don't handle Qantas, and that I knew nothing about it. Then I asked him where he worked, and he told me he works for Virgin Blue airlines. By this stage, I knew who he really was, and could read his mind.
I suddenly remembered that I had come back to watch the concert, so I told him, "No, I'm watching the concert now". I turned the TV on to see that the last song of the concert was on.

Any ideas on this would be appreciated. It's been in my head for the past few days.

1)
The dream starts off with a friend and I walking into a motel room. When we walked in, there were 3 bedroom sections, with walls, but no doors to seperate them from the main roon. Each bedroom area had a double bed and a set of 3 bunk beds. In the dream, I thought that mes 20 beds, so 20 people could sleep here.

I believe this is a symbol of the areas within your consciousness, which is "sectioned off"....that is , there is the waking conscious mind, the sleeping or unconscious mind, and the "superconscious mind," named such by Edgar Cayce, or various other dimensions of mind.

The beds then represent the fact that all these areas of mind are "sectioned", and not available to you, all at once, hence, you took the area in the dream, or room which had the TV & sofa.....the MAIN (or conscious mind)part, as "Dee".

2) My friend said that because there was no kitchen or bathroom, we would have to go out to eat dinner.

When there is a mention of food or no food in a dream, it usually is a represtation of "Nourishment", or being fed spiritually...........it's a pun.

3)Then I asked him where he worked, and he told me he works for Virgin Blue airlines. By this stage, I knew who he really was, and could read his mind.

I suddenly remembered that I had come back to watch the concert, so I  told him, "No, I'm watching the concert now". I turned the TV on to see that the last song of the concert was on.

3)not knowing you or your reactions to new people in life in the past, I'd venture to say that this may then be a reflection that you perhaps changed?..........in that you are not impressed enough by men/new people, even rich ones or famous ones enough that you'd stop what you were intending or doing.
You again, felt good enough within yourself, that what YOU wanted, came first...........above and beyond talking with a total stranger.
I'm surmising this because a famous person, well known, MOST people would drop everything they were doing, and try to "smooze" up to them.

Thanks for the interpretation of my dream Deb.
I'm still finding out so much about myself. The dream is so clear to me, even after a week.
You're right about me not being impressed by what people have.
Funnily enough, the other day I read that Richard Branson and Al Gore were putting $36 billion into finding a scientist who can find a way to rid greenhouse emissions. (somethign like that) I hadn't heard much about Richard Branson, so it was odd to me that he appeared in my dream. I also had a call at work a few days later asking me if we were the share registry for Qantas. On Sunday, I heard that the Aunty of the friend that was with me in the dream, had suffered a stroke. (She is ok now) Along with Pearl Jam songs on the radio, these reminders of my dream keep popping up.
Perhaps there is a very important message for me.
