CLM told me to put my on going dreams here that have to do with my oldest son.....who is missing. I was the last one to see him the evening of March 1st. He had his three dogs with him in his truck.. I consider him to be at risk...and a Missing Persons report has been filed...
Within a couple weeks of his disappearance I had the first three dreams with them all showing him to be just fine and happy.

#1 - My son and I are outside at a park like (not city looking) setting. It is daytime and sunny. His back is to me for a moment because he is looking at something. I am on the phone with his ex-wife. She was telling me how concerned she was that she had not heard from him in two days. I think the phone call ends and at this point he turns around and is talking to me. He is happy, smiling, and being everyday normal. I feel good for him. Dream ends.

#2 - I am seeing him from his left side. He is running - playing - with his three dogs on a grassy green mountain hill. He is happy and I can sense a feeling of the child within him.

#3 - I do not remember except to say that again he was fine in the dream.

I think the following two dreams occurred, Tuesday, the 10th,  in the a.m...

#4 - In the first one I see there is a warrant for my youngest son regarding two SR (Sheriff Reports) reports. I saw the numbers of each report but do not remember those. The warrants were because the Sheriff Department wanted to talk to my youngest son about him saying he saw his brother's truck down at this place in the Canyon where we live. I think the law was upset at him because they thought he was lying about this matter...
In real life, on Monday, I went with my oldest sons dad down to this place in the Canyon. There was no sign of the truck being there...and no sign of any dog prints either...

#5 - The next dream showed my oldest son in his truck falling down a green - full of vegetation - steep hill in the mountains - more like a drop off like from a road - and smashing front end - head first into a tree. He died instantly... There was this sense that he goofed - misjudged - whereever he was at and this resulted in his life coming to an end...

A new chart to consider:

using Bakersfield California as the "Querent"'s location
at 1:51 AM  April 18, 2007 (as per post 13) as posted time:

Re:

So, I will pose the question for anyone who wants to take this on: Where is he?

some references to horary rules here:

I think ? we need to first locate the true Querent(mother) in the chart...4th house Moon.,perhaps accompanied by the father (Sun).

Other then noticing Neptune in the 1st conjunct Chiron, I need to beg off, as I just am not good enough, studied enough to really give it a go.......I think oneiro is more proficient then I am by her posts.

The chart is unreadable because it has Saturn in the 7th.....

I suppose it is not the right time to be doing this....for whatever reason.......

Update.....

I only have a few minutes.. Have to get ready for work...
Great and not so good news. He is down south (at the beach of all places) mixed up with some cult because of a 'religious calling'... At least he is alive.. This removes my greatest worry.........

Yesterday, I pulled up a Horary chart for the last time he was seen by anyone, which was me. For timing I looked for the next aspect to the Moon when it moved into the next sign....which in this case was to the Sun. If I am doing this correctly, I came up with 20 degrees. I remember thinking that it would be a long time before anyone would hear anything because 20 days had already passed... I haven't seen anything about using actual dates for time indicators with the use of the Horary chart but needless to say today is the 20th.......
Doesn't matter.... 'cause now..I know.... That's all I asked... to know..

I have much to say about what people told me and those dreams as far as finding him. Right now, I will say Good Job to all....and Thank You Very Much for your time....

Must run now to get ready for work....

Cation & Oneiro: post 19,

look how Saturn (restrictions?) is opposite Neptune in the 1st house and conjunct Chiron.

Restrictions then? via the mind (delusions about religion and following another).......undermining then, in the house of self (identity) or 1st house.

Pluto in the 12th makes a great deal of sense, IF it's subconscious "mind control".

AND the next planet, after Pluto (control) is Jupiter (religion)or higher philosphy.

How about the "House of Values" being exceedingly busy in this chart?    With Uranus here, a quirk, or unusual value is being tried on? (i.e. Mars with the NN between Uranus & Mars in the house of Values)

Food for thought.

1st Horary (post 10)

has Jupiter (Religion) in 1st house (self identity) and in Philosophical/Regious sign of Sagittarius. (rebellious religious beliefs)

Pluto there as well (transformation catalyst) or control.
symbolically.

In the 12th is the Moon. (emotions) in the hidden house or psychological house of Neptune.

Interesting too, as an aside that since he is caught up in some sort of religious cult, and the Sun in post 10's chart, is in Pisces and the AC in Sagittarius, both "religion & philosophy signs".  Both, in the ancient days, (prior to Neptune's discovery) were ruled by the planet  Jupiter.

Glad to hear you've had contact from him at last! Even I had a big sigh of relief when I read this!

Down South eh? So much for all that water equals North business then!

The first chart had his significator conj with Neptune and with Jupiter in the 1st house and the chart ruler, as Debs pointed out, perhaps we were looking in the wrong places. In the sidereal chart his significator was in the kite aspect trining that 1st house Jupiter, Saturn and sextiling Neptune, maybe that's what all the Pisces stuff was about, the "institution" was a religious one rather than a hospital (phew) and with Saturn in the mix maybe he did feel it was fated. Maybe the Aquarian/Uranus influences show in that it's a cult rather than a popular religion. He is with other people (the aquarius again) and I suppose all the Pisces is the ocean rather than just a small body of water. Perhaps with the planets being at the bottom of the chart we should have read that he was in a place of low elevation (i.e. sea level) rather than in a hilly place, which Aquarius also stands for.
Was it a sudden whim to join them rather than something that's been at the back of his mind for a while? Perhaps we should have tried looking at his chart and transits to shed extra light on him. Still, knowledge after the fact always points out the bits we missed eh! Well, that's amateurs for you! ;)

Looking for some more reasoning behind the timing takes me back to the first horary (western style) chart that was posted - Cation is symbolised by Jupiter and her son by Mercury. Today (the day after contact?) Mercury exactly trines Jupiter, though it would have gone through the square aspect first, and no news reached you then.

Well I have to say that this is all quite a strange synchronicity for me today as I'm off to a going away party for the friend I mentioned here before who'se off to try monastic life for 3 months!

Oh also re the timing - in the sidereal chart Mars =Cation and Venus=son. At the time they were out of aspect and only today/last night finally come into aspect, within 1 degree of orb today, (though they are square).

I guess both styles have been fairly similar in several ways.

I like this and hope I can learn to remember just how literal some of the signs in the horary can be (such as water i.e. Pisces), even "Oceans" i.e. Neptune , and "groups", i.e. Uranian or Aquarius, all good points.......and salient ones too!

He is with other people (the aquarius again) and I suppose all the Pisces is the ocean rather than just a small body of water. Perhaps with the planets being at the bottom of the chart we should have read that he was in a place of low elevation (i.e. sea level)

Oneiro: I never would have thought Cation is symbolized by Jupiter/      What makes this so?.......(son Mercury, I can envision, an excellent point, btw.).....

Is Jupiter always the mom?

and WHY in Sidereal, would Mars be the mom? and Venus the son?

just curious, how you arrived at these symbols.

BTW, we'll need to follow the life of your dear friend, and I hope he fares well with his new life......Wish him well for meit sounds fascinating too............

Let's hope he fares better then the attacked link here my husband found on the internet today:

6 photos here........one worse then the other......or at least curious to say the least!!

Rival monk gangs?? Well well! I read the webpage of the monastery our friend is going to and the guy running it seems to go to Vietnam occasionally to try to help heal their old wounds there. He was there recently - seems he has a lot of work on his hands.

As to the stellorium links, that does look very intriguing, thanks to you and Flash for pointing it out, at the moment however our home computer is too low on disc space (thanks to my father hoarding junk on it and downloading more every day) to dare downloading anything, in fact I'm surprised it still works at all...(less than 200Mb space yesterday) if I do suddenly have a very quiet spell, well, it's nothing personal.

Now as to your questions about significators - in horary charts they say that the planetary ruler of the Asc sign represents the questioner (in this case it was Cation). The 7th house being the house of other people they use the planetary ruler of the Desc ruler to represent the person who is in question (in this case her son).
Hence in the 1st horary we did the Asc was Sag and the Desc Gemini thus Jupiter is said to represent Cation and Mercury her son. In the second (sidereal) it was Scorpio and Taurus thus Mars and Venus.
Some of the rules for horary seem to really stump me as for their reasoning, few are obvious, it's a completely different way of doing astrology isn't it, going to take a lot of practice I think before I feel comfortable with it but at least I've made a start on it now!
