Dream opens with Ralph walking along in a kind of hotel (no kidding, we WERE in a hotel in Italy)
and in the lobby , or so it seemed to him.
As he walked along he was telling someone about the accident of July 4th, that we had in our car, a very serious smash that did a lot of damage to our Corvette, (a tractor trailer hit it).....but, we were unharmed, (not a scratch to us)....very very fortunate.
Anyway, as he walked along in this hotel, my mother appeared and said to him, "Why didn't you tell me about the accident?"......he said to her, "I forgot to, plus we weren't hurt anyway, so no need to worry you".
Then he saw what he thought were stained glass balls (like pearl size balls) different sizes & colors (like you could string onto a necklace) things my mother would have liked.
An entire display case full of them. Kind of like a hotel puts on display to sell.,and mom led Ralph that way saying, "go through here".....knowing they were behind the counter and wanting to see them.
He followed her, and they came to a dead end .....
At this end, he said, "Well - now you'll have to turn around and go back".....and then he said, "I don't have to, WATCH THIS !" and he jumped over the counter.
She laughed and likewise, she too put her legs over the counter following his lead, all the while she laughed uproarisally.
