Last night, I had multiple dreams, but only remember the last two of them. The first - was rather strange, but when we look at the symbolic language of the dream,it's more understandable, in light of how I live my every day life with Ralph. We've talked just the day before, about how we miss our new granddaughters, their birthdays, their first Christmases, (2nd,3rd,and now 4th) Birthdays.......And Ralph feels we will be around for them, in a more important to them way, when they are older and have needs then. We speak of "values", and how, both Buddha and Jesus tells us we must relinquish our attachments in life, (both personal ones and materials ones to both monetary things and even to people). Ralph believes, we won't be returning to this earthly plane, and I feel the same way, but we realize it's not that we've reached a perfection, but rather that the trials were so difficult this time around, and we were able to come away from the suffering without bitterness anger or revenge.,therefore, whatever else we learn, we can learn "elsewhere", and not here any longer. The "last" hurdle, as Jesus defined as well as Siddhartha, is to overcome "possessions".......both again, physical ones and even relationship ones. The worse then, (of the lessons), is saved for the last lifetime. I think we saw the worse for Jesus, in that lifetime, saved for last; as well as in the suffering of Edgar Cayce and Siddhartha. They relinquished most of their possessions as well from those various lifetimes.,for the sake of the whole or the Ideal. With this in mind, here is my rather wierd dream: |

The dream opened (or at least what I remember of it), that I had a gold necklace on and had the end piece in my mouth, twirling the necklace a bit. The "end" of it came off, into my mouth, so I took it out and was shocked to see that the entire rest of the necklace, (99%) of it, was gone. I realized it had to have been swallowed, but I also realized I had "heard" that what goes in , will eventually come out.,so I asked Ralph, "Do you think this (gold) necklace will come out like I heard about??" We didn't know, "how" it would, or even "IF " it would come out.....as we both hoped, as it was gold after all. ................................................................................................... Interp: ........We (both of us), have no idea, "How" or "IF", our love for our granddaughters, will save the day, or how the valuable love of grandparents, will help them, how or when, or even IF. There are many questions that surround this problem, not the least of which is the father of the girls. We both feel that in the distant future, we will be part of their lives, and we VALUE this above all in life. The part of the necklace then, that I had in my possession, (about 1%) is represented by the photos we receive from Jen, and the video tapes, we have access to, to see their birthdays, their holidays, their Easter, etc........to watch them "from afar", is very valuable to us, like gold; BUT, it is again , just a very small part of what we both value, as the rest of it, (being in their lives each day), is again, "swallowed" metaphorically speaking, not something I can reach or obtain now. The question, "How will it come out in the future?" or "Will it come out", is not something we yet know about.,as it lies in the future. |

2nd Dream: (This one is how I observe life and see life to be) as Ralph & I speak everyday, both retired, home and observing together the life as we live it. ......"We were at a kind of large gathering of people, like you'd be in a tour, when we all go to a home hosted lunch, with the owners of the home, or farmhouse, "hosting" for the tour. In this dream, Ralph & I were at such a home lunch.,with many many people.,sitting around a large farmhouse type of table. I felt at my leg, a "fox".....because these owners had 2 foxes, one a female and one a male (so a pair of foxes) I was petrified, so worried that the fox with it's large fangs, (like a Doberman or another type of huge animal), might have, the ability to take a chunk of meat off a humanbeing, so I realized how dangerous these animals were to me. This one fox, was quietly, just against my bare leg, and I was scared to death of it,; and told Ralph who was sitting nearby, we needed to leave . I then saw the owner was taking out a box of food, (some type of cracker , cookie that the foxes liked), in order to pacify them, feed them, realizing that IF they were fed, they'd not as likely attack one of us (the group) for food. It didn't however, make me more anxious to stay there, I still didn't trust the animals to not do harm, so we carefully, moved away from the table, and tried to get out the door........" that's all I recall Interpretation next: |

This 2nd Dream, just before awakening, is easy to decipher, because, it's the mass consciousness and my role and part in it, I was observing in the dream. The "Foxes" both a male & female, were the people, such as we have in the White House, or any number of people in authority, power hungry, and possibly dangerous to the rest of us (the group being mass consciousness in our country) The fox next to my leg, I knew meant that to stay near them, as the rest of the people were obviously doing, (I call them the sheeple), who believe in folks like John McCain, and don't see him, "as a fox", are putting their lives at risk. We "discreetly", tried to leave the premises...........the consciousness then, (symbolically), of the whole mass consciousness, the larger part who buys into the whole idea that they will be safe with such leaders - "feeding" the animals (the animal part, or the fox part of consciousness, which leads our country, both now and possibly in the near future) into harm's way. |

In the SAME way, that Jesus called "Herod", "that Fox"; is how I see (as does Ralph),in my dream and in my waking life (being reflected in this dream)......the leaders of our country. We also see even those vying for the top role, again, as "The Foxes" who may indeed slyly (as a fox), cause irreperable harm as has been done for the past 8 years both to our country, our name in the larger world; those things which cannot be repaired now. The Context The context of Jesus�?characterization of Herod as a fox is a story that appears in Luke 13:31-33: At that time some Pharisees came to Jesus and said to him, “Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill you.�?/BLOCKQUOTE> He replied, “Go tell that fox, ‘I will drive out demons and heal people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.�?In any case, I must keep going today and tomorrow and the next day for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem!�?(New International Version) |

Jesus called Herod Antipas a fox (Lk. 13:32), and English speakers and Europeans assume the point is obvious. Foxes are proverbially associated with cleverness and craftiness. Therefore, Jesus must be calling Herod a crafty person. What did he mean by calling Herod a fox? A fox is a small, weak, wily animal that lives by cunning rather than strength. Jesus was drawing attention to Herod’s crafty, treacherous side. Herod was not a man worthy of trust or respect. He divorced his wife to marry his own niece, who happened to be his own brother’s wife. He beheaded John the Baptist because of a foolish promise made at a birthday party. He was a man of weak character who used his political power for selfish ends. |
