A rather strange dream, but I think I can piece it together easily enough.

I recall meeting this younger woman, who I thought I  could be friends with, and it seems we were on a type of vacation or something, because Ralph was there (in the dream)....and what I recall is sketchy but it was like I was thinking to myself that I liked this girl, and we could be friends and perhaps even travel together.

She had a family or a home that I walked into  her house or apt. and it was really a very chaotic situation.

People everywhere, chaos reigned, and when I said to her, "Well, let me give you my email address then and we can get together, she just looked kind of blankly and said,"Oh I never do that".....then laughed.

She explained that for me she'd make an exception, and gave me a 8X10 notebook to write my address on.

 

The notebook was like her life, all messy and written on, like a child had used it, all the  pages were written on.

So I tried to write down my pertinent information and draw arrows to where my address was realizing what a frustrating effort this was after all.

 

I said to her jokingly, (but with tongue in cheek), "Well, I guess I'm not going to be on your Christmas list this year"meaning, how could she possibly be straight and seriously consider calling me with this chaotic mess?

 

 

I recall having given her a dog my mother use to own, a really wild animal who no one could train, and Ralph & I use to laugh about that dog but didn't really like it either.

 

Now that dog was in her home, in a room where there were many people, acting loud (like a party going on).......and when I walked into that room, I had a tissue with me and was going to scrub off a little dirt from a leather couch that was mine (I have 2 leather couches, both whitish or off white), easily soiled.

 

So when I bent down to wipe off the dirt smudge, (don't ask me WHY my furniture was in her place, but it was) I looked over and saw instead, a pressing need for that one tissue I carried, and it looked to me to be "dog pee" yellow in color on the larger couch.

 

I immediately went to wipe or blot it, and thought to myself, OMG - that damned dog went wild and isn't trained to be here at all.

Then I realized that perhaps it was a child, (a baby), who wet that couch.

 

End of dream.
