that sounds about right!
I think it could have been using the symbol of music since that has been on my mind recently.I got another song signed up and I have been working a lot on writing music just recently.I did think maybe it was a dream about just me making songs and how that has reflected upon me, but I think there's probably more to it and I suspect like you have interpreted the symbols are being used to represent something else.
Porta cabins are interesting.they have appeared quite often in my dreams over the last year or so,I think the symbol could be something to do with temporary states ,or when something is being re-built / upgraded.that would make sense and tie in with what you mention.In the past they have often been in use while another part of a place I am frequenting is being renovated.mainly remember them from school and college ,so they probably are linked with higher learning.
I did fall asleep last night not feeling brilliant ,I think the last thoughts I had before drifting off were quite depressing and I often think the last mindset before we drift off into sleep are reflected in the dreams.been feeling a little up and down of late just had a mars return recently, planets transiting my natal t-square often make me feel a bit all over the place :(
