Old Souls are those who are "older" in experience on the earth's plane, while "newer souls", are either, new aspects which were propelled from the older souls and aren't very experienced yet in this plane of awareness.
Souls (as such), spawn off new so-called souls, or new appendages that we call the newer and less experienced souls. These are part of us, (the older soul), but since life here is a school, we send these other parts (appendages), that we creatively created. Not to play God, but to learn to be like god therefore a partner with god in the end.

There seem to be more "newer " souls then the older ones on this planet, therefore the constant wars and rumors of war.......from these non-experienced, souls who simply "don't get it"

Think on This ...

(Q) Am I an old or a young soul in evolutionary growth?

(A) All souls are from one. It is the application that has grown to be that which is termed old or young soul. For all souls were created in the one. The entity has applied self, the entity has kept self close in contact with many who have through the awareness of the oneness of God's purpose with man been attempting to bring him to that awareness; and hence an "Old" soul in service.

"God" in this vein, as in my prior post, means simply "All that IS"

the ONE ........

This is not at all like a personality, etc. rather as Cayce explained that on this earth plane, we can liken this energy gestalt we call god, to Electricity.

That's the closest comparison he could come up  with.

In otherwords, Electricity, if you think about it, is a neutral (affecting all of us)......form of vibration.

Remember, the old prophets who said, "God makes it to rain on the just and the unjust alike"

God in this venecular is Vibrational Energy, (like) electricity.

Not favoring one person vs another, but IS all of them in some manner or form.

I had thought it from the Old Testament, but apparently the quote is from Matthew that Jesus tells us, "God makes it to rain on the just and the unjust ALIKE"
Note that the word highlighted below in bold, speaks of "the impartiality" of God!  This then, is as Cayce says, "like electricity" on this plane of awareness.
This isn't to suggest or say that God IS electricity, but just like this energy, it's a simplistic comparison at best.
The point being, we are ALL interconnected......and ALL are god.

What to do with this Contradiction

http://www.roangelo.net/logwitt/logwit47.html

Taken out of context [-- In context they are a statement about life in the kingdom of God, where we are to love the just and the unjust with the same impartiality that God does --], the natural reading of the words "He sends his rain upon the just and the unjust alike" (Mt. 5.45) is that: the God of Nature is indifferent to right and wrong.  It is indeed loving [and good in the Greek way: "My brother has wronged me ..." (Quotations from Memory)] to never return bad for bad; however, one cannot also say that it is loving [good] to return bad for good ("sending rain upon the just") either.

And what would we expect the world to be like if the God of Nature were the same as the God within us?

to repeat:

the natural reading of the words "He sends his rain upon the just and the unjust alike" (Mt. 5.45) is that: the God of Nature is indifferent to right and wrong.

Note:
isn't electricity (as Cayce says god on THIS level can be best likened to -"indifferent" to right and wrong, but rather neutral to all??
